They are two decades apart and it shows in the construction. A*Men buries its cocoa in a huge accord of caramel, honey, milk, coffee and patchouli, so the chocolate is one element in a very crowded gourmand. This puts cacao pod and dark chocolate right at the top and frames them with mandarin and grapefruit, then uses ginger, cinnamon and olibanum to keep the middle dry. A*Men is the sweeter and more chaotic; this is the more legible chocolate.

More than you would expect, and the olibanum is why. Dark chocolate and cacao pod are dry, slightly bitter materials rather than sugary ones, and the frankincense and vetiver in the composition keep pulling that way, so this does not turn into melted dessert on warm skin. What does gain is the caramel and amber in the base. The mandarin and grapefruit lift is short here; Evening wear, and a spray rather than three.
