What does each size cost?

Is a bigger decant cheaper per millilitre?

Yes, for these three the cost per millilitre falls as the size goes up. Asad costs ৳99 per ml at 1.5 ml and ৳54 at 30 ml. Club de Nuit Intense Man Eau de Parfum costs ৳100 per ml at 1.5 ml and ৳54 at 30 ml. Aventus costs ৳871 per ml at 1.5 ml and ৳570 at 30 ml.

Buying the larger size outright also beats stacking small ones. Three 5 ml decants of Asad cost ৳1,044 for 15 ml in total, while one 15 ml decant costs ৳914. The catch is that the lower rate only helps if you finish the bigger decant, so spend the extra only on a scent you already know suits you.

How long does each size last?

Using the shop’s estimate of about 15 sprays per millilitre, here is simple arithmetic at two sprays a day. It is a guide, not a promise for any one atomiser.

• 1.5 ml is about 22 sprays, so roughly 11 days.
• 3 ml is about 45 sprays, so roughly 22 days.
• 5 ml is about 75 sprays, so roughly 37 days.
• 10 ml is about 150 sprays, so roughly 75 days.
• 15 ml is about 225 sprays, so roughly 112 days.
• 30 ml is about 450 sprays, so roughly 225 days.

Spraying once or three times changes those figures in proportion. In a rotation of four scents, each fragrance is worn about one day in four, so a 5 ml decant could stretch to something like five months.

Best size for trying a new scent

Choose 1.5 ml or 3 ml. A perfume often smells different on skin after a few hours than it does in the first minute, and the only way to find out how it behaves in Bangladesh’s heat is to wear it for a full day or two. A used decant cannot be returned (the FAQ has the terms), so the smallest size is also the cheapest mistake to make. With Creed Aventus, a 1.5 ml trial is ৳1,307 where the 30 ml is ৳17,100.

Once a scent has passed the trial, 5 ml or 10 ml is the natural next step: 75 to 150 sprays is weeks of regular wear and is still a modest outlay. A fragrance wardrobe of three or four 5 ml decants gives you variety across the week without committing to a full bottle of any of them. If one fragrance becomes your everyday choice, move to 15 ml or 30 ml for the lower cost per millilitre.

Which decant size is best for travel?

3 ml or 5 ml is the practical choice. 3 ml is about 45 sprays, roughly three weeks at two sprays a day, and 5 ml is about 75 sprays, roughly five weeks. Both are small atomisers that fit in a pocket or toiletry bag.
