Cooler and greener. 9AM runs lemon and mandarin into lavender, orange blossom, green apple and rose over musk, moss, cedar and patchouli, so it reads as a clean citrus-floral. Dive keeps the lemon but pairs it with mint and black currant, moves apple into the heart alongside cedar and incense, and finishes on ginger, sandalwood, patchouli and jasmine. 9AM is the polite office one; Dive is sharper and has a faint smoky thread the original does not.

It helps, and the incense is the surprise that helps more. Lemon and mint both read colder against hot skin than they do in cool air, which is the whole appeal of the opening here. Black currant thins quickly. What holds the middle together in humidity is the cedar and incense, dry materials that keep their shape rather than sweetening, with ginger adding a peppery bite underneath, and a rare aquatic-adjacent scent that does not go flat in this weather.
