The one described here is the 2023 perfume essence Dior sells as L'Or de J'adore, composed by Francis Kurkdjian around just three absolutes: orange blossom, jasmine grandiflorum and centifolia rose. It is not the older 2010 Essence de Parfum by Francois Demachy, a much heavier rose-and-jasmine built over vanilla, tonka and amber. Both have circulated under the L'Or name, so the note list above is the reliable way to tell them apart.

If sweetness is what put you off J'Adore in the past, this is the version worth trying.
