These terms apply to every order placed on aurome.bd and to your use of the website. By placing an order you agree to them. Please also read our Delivery & payment, Returns & claims and Privacy policy pages, which form part of these terms.
1. Who we are
AUROME is a fragrance decant retailer registered in Bangladesh (trade licence 120998778), located in Pahartali, Chattogram. “AUROME”, “we” and “us” refer to this business; “you” refers to the customer. Contact details are at the end of this page.
2. What we sell
We sell decants: smaller portions of an original fragrance, filled from the original bottle into a new glass spray atomiser in the size you select (1.5 ml, 3 ml, 5 ml, 10 ml, 15 ml or 30 ml unless a product page says otherwise). The bottle pictured on a product page identifies the fragrance; it is not what is delivered. AUROME is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of any fragrance brand. Brand and product names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to identify the fragrance.
3. Decanting and its limits
A decant contains only the original fragrance; we do not add, dilute or mix anything. Some things are outside our control and are not faults: how long a fragrance lasts or how far it projects on your skin; batch-to-batch differences made by the original manufacturer; changes in colour or scent caused by heat, light, air or storage after delivery; and small differences between the size stated and the fill level caused by the atomiser mechanism. Spray counts quoted on the site are estimates.
4. Orders and acceptance
An order is an offer to buy. We may contact you by phone, SMS or WhatsApp to confirm it before dispatch, and we may decline or limit an order, for example when an item has sold out, when contact details cannot be verified, or when previous cash-on-delivery parcels from the same customer were refused. For unusually large orders we may ask for confirmation or an advance before dispatch. Your order is accepted when we dispatch it.
5. Prices and mistakes
Prices are in Bangladeshi taka and may change at any time; the price shown when you place your order applies to that order. Delivery is charged separately as shown at checkout. If a product has been listed at a clearly incorrect price or with incorrect information, we will contact you before dispatch to confirm, correct or cancel the order.
6. Payment
You can pay by bKash, Nagad or cash on delivery, as offered at checkout. With cash on delivery you pay the courier in cash when the parcel arrives. With a mobile wallet you send the order total to the number shown at checkout and give your transaction ID; we confirm the payment before dispatch, and an order whose payment cannot be matched is not dispatched until it is resolved. The amount payable is the order total shown at checkout, including the delivery fee: ৳80 inside Dhaka city and ৳120 everywhere else in Bangladesh; delivery is free on orders of ৳2,000 or more.
7. Delivery
We deliver only within Bangladesh. Parcels are sent by courier and usually arrive the next day in Chattogram, in 2–4 days in Dhaka, and within 2–4 business days after dispatch elsewhere; courier delays, weather, strikes or public holidays can extend this. You are responsible for giving a complete address and an active phone number, and for being reachable when the courier calls. If a parcel is returned to us because the address was wrong or the recipient could not be reached, re-delivery may carry an additional delivery fee.
8. Checking your parcel and claims
Please check your parcel on delivery. If a decant arrives leaking, broken, missing or is not what you ordered, report it within 48 hours of delivery with your order reference and photographs. Approved claims are replaced or refunded in full and we cover return delivery. Claims made after 48 hours cannot be accepted. The full process is on the Returns & claims page.
9. Change of mind, returns and cancellation
An unsprayed, unopened decant in its original packaging may be returned within 48 hours of delivery. For change-of-mind returns, and for orders cancelled or refused after dispatch, a return fee of 50% of your district’s standard delivery charge applies (৳40 inside Dhaka city, ৳60 elsewhere), including on orders that qualified for free delivery, and any delivery fee paid is not refunded. There are no free returns in any district. Sprayed or used decants cannot be returned. Cancellation before dispatch is free.
10. Refunds
Refunds are processed within 24 hours of approval. We confirm the refund method with you (bKash, Nagad, Rocket or bank transfer); the time for funds to arrive depends on that method.
11. Your account, wishlist and reviews
You are responsible for keeping any account password confidential and for activity under your account. Reviews and other content you submit must be your own honest opinion and must not be unlawful, offensive or misleading; we may edit or remove content that breaks these rules. By submitting a review you allow us to display it on the site.
12. Website content
Text, photographs, graphics and code on aurome.bd belong to AUROME or are used with permission and may not be copied or reused without written consent. Product descriptions are written to help you choose and describe the fragrance as generally experienced; they are not guarantees of how it will perform for you. We try to keep the site accurate and available but cannot promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
13. Privacy
We use your name, address, phone number and e-mail to process and deliver your order and to contact you about it. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy policy.
14. Liability
Our responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, including its delivery fee. We are not liable for indirect losses, for how a fragrance performs on your skin, or for delays and failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the laws of Bangladesh that cannot be limited by agreement.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of Bangladesh.
