What makes Cavatina's fruit feel different from a typical sweet fruity floral?

The structure. Elodie Bernard bookends it with pomegranate up top and grenadine syrup in the base, an unusual choice that keeps a tart, red-fruit thread running the whole way through. A sorbet accord and pink pepper keep the opening fresh, so it reads juicy and lively rather than flatly sweet.

Cavatina opens with pomegranate and blackcurrant, a fruity, jewel-toned top note that unfolds into a lush floral heart of jasmine and rose. Musk settles the dry-down into something soft and lasting rather than sharp.

It suits an autumn dinner date or a spring wedding rather than a quick daytime errand. With longevity and sillage both around a 4, expect it to be long-lasting and to project well through the evening.

Cavatina is unisex, lush enough for him or her alike. AUROME sells it as a 2–15 ml decant filled from the original Sospiro bottle, enough to wear it several times before deciding on a full bottle.
