What does Notorious XO smell like?

A warm, boozy cognac with a pepper kick and an unexpected salty, watery facet up top that gives it a slight fizz. Leather, cinnamon and cardamom build a spiced heart, then praline, vanilla, amber and sandalwood soften the base without turning it into candy. It reads mature and dressed-up.

How does it compare to Angels' Share?

The two get compared constantly since both center cognac and cinnamon. Reviewers generally agree Notorious XO leans more leathery and masculine, with the salty note and dry spice holding the sweetness back. Cognac and black pepper open this M. Micallef eau de parfum (EDP) on a warm spicy note, before cinnamon and leather deepen the heart alongside cardamom and tonka, and vanilla with praline and amber settle into a sweet, woody dry-down. Perfumer Daniela Marty built it for the coldest, darkest hours, a winter wedding evening or a late date rather than daytime wear. Expect it to project well and last long into the night.
