What does Confetto smell like?

A candied-almond gourmand. It centers on sweet almond and anise over an amber, vanilla and musk base, giving a marzipan-and-sugared-almond effect, exactly like the Italian confetti sweets it is named after. So it is soft, sweet and a little boozy from the anise rather than fresh.

Is this the same as Confetto Limited Edition?

No. Profumum Roma released a separate Confetto Limited Edition in 2023, listed on its own, so the two are easy to confuse. This is the original 1996 Confetto, the almond-anise-vanilla version described here.

Roasted almond and star anise open this Profumum Roma eau de parfum (EDP) with a soft spicy sweetness, before amber and musk build the heart, and vanilla closes out a warm, powdery dry-down. It is a gourmand built for cold evenings rather than daytime wear, well suited to a winter dinner date once the Dhaka air finally cools. Expect it to project well and last for hours, so it holds up through a long evening out.
