What does Crimson smell like?

A warm cinnamon and pink-pepper opening folds into a sweet base of benzoin, tonka and vanilla, with patchouli and heliotrope giving a soft powdery middle. It is a cozy spiced-sweet scent, not a fresh one.

Is Crimson very sweet?

It leans sweet, with the benzoin-tonka-vanilla base doing most of the work, but the cardamom and cinnamon up top keep it from tipping into pure gourmand.

Benzoin, tonka and vanilla close the base on a sweet, balsamic finish, keeping this soft spicy composition warm rather than sharp. There is no rated longevity or sillage figure on file, so it is worth wearing it across a full evening to judge how long the vanilla base lasts.

It suits a winter wedding or an evening event in Dhaka rather than daytime heat. This eau de parfum for him comes as a 5–15 ml decant filled from the original bottle.
