Both are Mancera roses and they differ on how much sugar is involved. Roses Greedy piles peach, black currant and coconut on top of its rose and finishes on sugar, vanilla, amber and benzoin, unapologetically sweet. Instant Crush opens on saffron and ginger with bergamot and mandarin, keeps Moroccan rose and jasmine in the heart, and lands on sandalwood, oakmoss, musk and vanilla. Roses Greedy is the dessert rose; this is the spiced, more polished one.

It brings the metallic side forward. Saffron here already reads warm and slightly metallic rather than culinary, and warm skin sharpens that further, so the opening is more assertive in humidity than in cool air. Ginger beside it stays dry and peppery. The rose deepens and the vanilla in the base warms up through the afternoon, so the fragrance moves from spiced to soft faster here, with the oakmoss the only thing holding a bitter edge.
