It is a fruity scent that turns smoky. A big fruity-citrus top of pineapple, cassis, apple and grapefruit opens it bright, a heart of vanilla, patchouli and cade oil brings in a campfire smokiness, and a base of musk, cedar, cashmeran and amber grounds it. So it moves from fresh-fruity to smoky-woody, which is unusual for the price. It is composed by Nejla Barbir.

It is widely compared to Creed Aventus for its fruity-pineapple opening, but how close it lands is disputed. Some wearers get a clear Aventus impression up top, while others say the cade-oil smokiness and the drydown take it somewhere of its own. Treat it as Aventus-inspired rather than a faithful copy, especially since opinions differ on later batches.

That is the cade oil. Cade is a distilled juniper wood with a tarry, campfire-like smokiness, and it is the note that separates this from the crowd of fruity masculines.
