The darkest Acqua di Gio yet. Bergamot, nutmeg and green mandarin open it, violet leaf and water notes keep a trace of the aquatic signature, and a base of leather, patchouli, vetiver and labdanum makes it deep and resinous. So it reads as a leathery, dressed-up take on the line rather than the breezy original. It is the 2025 Elixir, composed by Alberto Morillas.

It is the leather-forward one. Where Profondo and Absolu stay closer to the aquatic-incense side of the family, the Elixir leans hardest into leather, patchouli and labdanum, so it is the least beachy of them. Some wearers even find it close to the Parfum , just heavier.

Barely. The violet leaf and water notes nod to the original marine character, but the leather, patchouli and labdanum dominate, so it wears as a warm leathery scent with an aquatic memory rather than a fresh aquatic. Buy it for the dark side, not the beach.
