How is this different from the other Gucci gardenia scents?

There are three easily confused: the 2012 Flora by Gucci Gorgeous Gardenia, the 2021 Flora Gorgeous Gardenia, and this 2025 Intense. The Intense is the richest of them, concentrating the gardenia over a creamy sandalwood base, so it is deeper and longer-wearing than the brighter originals.

Why does it list so few notes?

It is a deliberately minimal build: mandarin on top, gardenia with hedione in the heart, and sandalwood in the base. Hedione is a fresh, airy jasmine-like material that makes the gardenia bloom and feel more transparent, so the short list is about clarity rather than simplicity.

Mandarin gives this Gucci eau de parfum (EDP) a brief citrus lift before gardenia takes over the heart, radiant and slightly powdery, settling into a warm sandalwood base.

Made for her, it suits a dinner date or an evening out once winter or the cooler autumn months arrive in Dhaka. Expect long-lasting, well-projecting wear, so a light hand carries it comfortably through the evening. AUROME sells it as a 2–15 ml decant filled from the original Gucci bottle, so you can wear it for a week before deciding on a full bottle.
