What is the tomato leaf note doing in Shuhrah?

It is the fragrance's signature quirk. Instead of the usual oud-heavy opening, Shuhrah leads with a green, slightly bitter tomato leaf that sits over a rose-and-leather core. Reviewers find it divisive but distinctive, and it is what gives the scent its unexpected character before the oud and oakmoss base takes over.

How is Shuhrah different from its flankers?

The line has grown, so the name alone does not tell you the style. This original is a woody-aromatic tomato-leaf-and-leather scent, while Shuhrah Avenoir goes sweeter and more gourmand, and the separate Boisee and Elixir editions differ again. Treat each as its own profile rather than a stronger version.

Rose and freesia open Shuhrah, sandalwood, cedar and jasmine build a floral woody heart, and leather, oud, musk, oakmoss and amber close it out on a dark, resinous base.

It’s suited to an evening date or a wedding through winter and the shoulder months, a woody aromatic for him that carries a lot of presence.

Longevity and sillage both sit at 4 out of 5, so expect it to last well and project generously through the night. This is available as a 5–15 ml decant taken from the original Rasasi bottle, a practical way to test it through the weather here before buying full size.
