No, and the name is the least accurate thing about it. The note list runs pear and citrus into Indian ginger, Turkish rose and patchouli leaf, then finishes on white musk, amber, benzoin and incense, with nothing marine or ozonic anywhere in it. What reads as aquatic is the sparkling, watery quality of the pear-and-citrus opening rather than a sea accord. Go in expecting a fresh fruity-woody with a resinous base, not a blue fragrance.

Cedrat Boise is the sharper of the two. It opens on Sicilian lemon and black currant and lands on cedar, leather and moss, so it reads bright and then dry. Aqua Wood softens that formula: pear replaces the citrus bite, Turkish rose and ginger warm the middle, and the base trades leather for benzoin and incense. Cedrat Boise is the crisp one; this is the rounder, slightly sweeter reading of the same fresh-woody idea.

Better than the citrus beside it. Pear is a fuller, waxier fruit note and it survives warm skin where lemon and bergamot thin within minutes, so the opening stays juicy longer here than a straight citrus would. What changes most is the base: benzoin and amber both gain weight in heat, so the incense that reads dry in cool air turns warmer and sweeter through the afternoon. Ginger keeps a peppery bite the whole way, which stops the whole thing going soft.
