Not in a straightforward way. The whipped-cream and tonka base reads more like warm, faintly boozy skin than an actual dessert, and it is front-loaded with a salty sea-salt-and-bergamot opening and a lush ylang, jasmine and lily heart. So it is really a salty floral-gourmand rather than a sugar bomb, which is what keeps it from feeling sickly despite the creamy base.

They sit at opposite ends of the set. Club de Nuit Precieux I is the fruity-woody one: pineapple, pear and caramel over oakmoss, anise and a leathery ambroxan base, much closer in spirit to the rest of the Club de Nuit line. Precieux IV goes salty and creamy instead, opening on sea salt, bergamot and apple, running a lush ylang, lily and jasmine heart, and finishing on whipped cream, tonka bean and vanilla. Knowing one tells you very little about the other.

It brings it forward sooner. Whipped cream, tonka and vanilla all soften and spread on warm skin, so the salty-fresh opening that gives this its shape is shorter here than in cool air, and the creamy phase runs longer. Sea salt is the note that holds, keeping a mineral edge under the sweetness for most of the wear. The white florals also get fuller in humidity, so the middle is richer than the note list suggests and a light hand suits it in this weather.
