What is the datura note in Wanted Girl?

Datura, or thorn-apple, is an unusual narcotic white-floral rarely used in mainstream gourmands. Dominique Ropion and Fanny Bal pair it with a dulce de leche heart, so Wanted Girl balances a heady floral against a caramel sweetness, which is what gives it more edge than a plain sweet gourmand.

Is Wanted Girl related to the men's Wanted?

Yes, it is the female counterpart to Azzaro's Wanted line rather than a flanker of one scent. It shares the confident, bold positioning but has its own ginger-flower-and-caramel character. Note there are also Intense, Tonic and By Night versions; this is the original EDP.

Ginger gives this oriental floral a spiced, warm opening before peach and osmanthus bring a lactonic, milky sweetness to the heart. The base turns woody, with vetiver and patchouli meeting creamy tonka for a fresh spicy finish that never feels too sugary.

It’s a good match for a date night or a cool winter evening, when a warmer floral suits the season better than something citrus-led. Expect the vanilla-tinged base to stay close yet noticeable for hours, projecting well as the evening goes on.
