A spicy leather-tobacco. Cinnamon, lavender and bergamot open it, a heart of leather and mimosa adds warmth, and a base of tobacco leaf, guaiac wood, opoponax and oakmoss makes it deep and slightly sweet. So it reads as a classic, dressed-up cold-season scent rather than a fresh or modern one. It launched in 2006, composed by Antoine Maisondieu.

Yes. The original 2006 version, produced under Inter Parfums, had a fuller oakmoss-rich base; later batches made under Coty are lighter, with the oakmoss reduced, so wearers describe the current bottle as close but slightly thinner and prize the vintage. Despite recurring rumours, it is not actually discontinued.

It leans formal. The spiced lavender, leather and tobacco give it a mature, dressed-up character that suits evenings and colder months more than a casual daytime rotation. It reads classic rather than trendy, which is exactly why it has a loyal following.
