Both are the house's boozy side and they use different drinks. Spectre Wraith is rum and spice into coffee, vetiver and patchouli over sugarcane, so it reads dark and roasted. Amber Empire opens on a liquor accord with vanilla pod and cashmere wood, runs amber and sugar cane through the heart, and finishes on tonka, sandalwood, musk and labdanum. Spectre Wraith is the bitter one; Amber Empire is the warm, resinous one.

Evenings only, and the labdanum is why. Liquor, vanilla pod and sugar cane all gain on warm skin, and labdanum and tonka underneath are resins that thicken rather than lift, so this is dense by construction and denser still in humidity. Cashmere wood and sandalwood give it some dryness but arrive late. Treat it as a cold-air fragrance you borrow for an air-conditioned night out, applied once rather than three times.
