Is Creed Neroli Sauvage a pure neroli scent or more citrus?

It is both, and quite fresh overall. Bergamot and grapefruit open it bright and zesty, then neroli and verbena share the heart, over a clean ambergris base. That makes it a light, sparkling neroli-citrus rather than a heavy white floral, easy in warm weather. It is a Creed heritage release from 1994, worn by men and women.

Does it actually smell like neroli, given the name?

Less than the name suggests. The neroli is restrained, and many wearers read the heart as verbena-forward, green and slightly salty, rather than a rich orange-blossom bloom. Think of it as a bright citrus-aromatic with a neroli accent rather than a neroli soliflore. If you want neroli front and centre, this may read subtler than expected.

Neroli Sauvage opens with bergamot and grapefruit, a bright citrus lift. Verbena and neroli bring a white floral heart before ambergris settles the dry-down into something clean and understated.

It’s built for an early outdoor run before the Dhaka heat sets in, or a casual office day. With longevity and sillage both around a 4, expect it to be long-lasting and to project well without feeling heavy.

Neroli Sauvage is unisex, clean enough for anyone. AUROME offers it as a 3–9 ml decant drawn from the original Creed bottle, plenty to test before deciding on a full bottle.
