Q Intense swaps in black cherry, keeps the heliotrope, and finishes on amber and woods instead of musk, which gives it more weight from the second hour on. The opening is still Sicilian lemon and orange, so the first ten minutes are brighter than the Intense label suggests.

Less than the note implies, because there is no sugar behind it. Black cherry is a darker, faintly bitter fruit note rather than a candied one, and heliotrope beside it stays powdery on warm skin instead of turning syrupy. What does gain is the amber base, which warms and thickens through a hot afternoon.
