Not in the way the word extrait usually implies. It is Nishane's term for a fuller, muskier take on a cologne rather than a light citrus splash, so there is real substance in the musk, moss and ambergris base that a classic cologne lacks. Underneath, it is still a fresh citrus rather than a dense parfum, so treat it as a cologne with a proper finish instead of a heavyweight.

Same idea, different destination. Colognise builds its freshness on green tea and grapefruit over neroli and vetiver, which keeps it bitter, watery and close to a classic cologne structure. Hesperide Colognise drops the tea and leans on orris, cedarwood and cashmere wood through the heart, with moss and ambergris underneath, so it reads warmer, softer and more textured. Colognise is the crisper of the two; this is the rounder one.

It shortens the bright part and leaves you with the soft part. Orange, bergamot and lime evaporate quickly in high heat, so the sparkling opening that defines this in cool air is a brief phase here. What remains is the orris and cashmere wood over moss and ambergris, and those hold their shape in humidity, giving a clean, skin-like warmth rather than a citrus one.
