Is the coffee note in Intoxicated strong?

Opinions split on this. Calice Becker builds it around coffee and cardamom, and some wearers get a vivid Turkish-coffee effect while others find the cardamom, spice and sweetness take over instead. So it is genuinely a coffee gourmand, but how much coffee you get can vary from person to person.

Is this a sweet gourmand or a spicy scent?

Both at once. A coffee-and-cardamom top sits over nutmeg, cinnamon and tobacco, with a caramel, mocha and vanilla base, so it is a spicy gourmand rather than a purely sweet one. The 2015 batch is the same composition.

Cardamom and coffee ignite this Kilian eau de parfum (EDP), moving into a spiced cinnamon and tobacco heart before caramel, vanilla and patchouli create a warm, resinous base.

Composed by Calice Becker, it is a unisex evening fragrance, well matched to a date night or a party once the cooler winter and autumn air settles over Dhaka. Expect long-lasting wear with strong projection, so one spray should be enough for a full evening. AUROME sells it as a 2–15 ml decant filled from the original Kilian bottle, so you can wear it for a week before deciding on a full bottle.
