Mint and cardamom give Le Male its cool, aromatic opening, before lavender and cinnamon settle into a warm spicy heart alongside orange blossom. From there it dries down into sandalwood, cedar and tonka, with vanilla and amber closing out a fougere structure dating back to 1995.
It works well for a winter evening date or a party once the temperature drops, less suited to a hot commute. Longevity and sillage both sit at 4/5, so expect it for him to last comfortably through the night and project at a fair distance. AUROME sells Le Male as a 2–15 ml decant filled from the original Jean Paul Gaultier bottle, so you can wear it before deciding on a full bottle.
