Ultra Male is the sweeter, fruitier flanker. Where Le Male is a mint-and-lavender fougere over vanilla, Ultra Male opens on syrupy pear with mint and lavender, then dries into a much darker, boozy base of black vanilla, amber and patchouli. So it reads younger and more gourmand than the classic.
