Same lane, softer execution. Sauvage Elixir is built on grapefruit and heavy spice into a lavender heart over licorice, amber, patchouli and vetiver, and its density is the whole point. This Elixir keeps the lavender and adds mint and bergamot for a cleaner opening, then uses pineapple and benzoin in the heart and finishes on vanilla, tonka and musk rather than woods. The Dior is darker and drier; this is the friendlier, sweeter version of the shape.

The opening is well suited and the ending is not. Mint and lavender both stay sharp on warm skin, and bergamot lifts them, so the first stretch is genuinely refreshing in humidity. Pineapple is the pivot: it reads tart in cool air and noticeably sweeter as the day warms, which pulls the whole thing toward the vanilla-and-tonka base sooner than intended. Evenings suit the second half better than a hot afternoon does.
