This is the 2024 Bad Boy Cobalt Elixir, not the original Bad Boy or the 2022 Bad Boy Cobalt. Elixir is a reworked, richer take rather than simply a stronger Cobalt, shifting the profile toward sage, black truffle and frankincense instead of the cooler original's fresher character.
Dry, aromatic and faintly smoky. Black pepper and sage open it, a truffle-and-woods heart gives it an unusual savory depth, and vanilla with frankincense warms the base. It reads more intense and evening-leaning than the cooler, more casual original Cobalt.
