It is Alessandro Gualtieri's citrus-forward Orto Parisi extrait: a big Calabrian bergamot and lemon opening over lavender, orange blossom and an animalic musk-cedar base. Bright on top, dirty underneath.
No, and that is the point of it. The bright bergamot burns off into a warm, slightly animalic musk-and-cedar drydown, so it travels from fresh cologne to a close skin scent.
It is the most wearable and citrus-driven of the line, tamer than the herbal Viride or the fruity Risvelum . A Basenotes revisit thread notes it grows on people who found it rough at first.
Bergamot and lemon open Bergamask clean and citrus-led, lavender, orange blossom and lily of the valley soften the heart, and musk, cedar and tonka close a gentle, powdery finish.
No performance figures recorded, but the bright citrus opening suits casual daytime wear, a date, or an evening out through the warmer months. AUROME sells it as a 3–9 ml decant from the original Orto Parisi bottle, worth a week’s wear before committing to more.
