Is Herbes Troublantes a new fragrance or a renamed one?

It is a rename. Guerlain reissued the earlier Un Dimanche a la Campagne as Herbes Troublantes within its L'Art et la Matiere line, so if the older name is familiar, this is essentially that scent under a new title rather than a fresh composition.

What does it smell like?

A fresh, cologne-style green scent. Thierry Wasser opens it with bergamot and coriander over an orange-blossom, lavender and geranium heart, settling onto a soft musky-woody base. It is light and aromatic, meant to feel like crushed herbs and citrus rather than a heavy Guerlain oriental.

Thyme, mint and rosemary give Herbes Troublantes a herbal, almost restless opening, before orange blossom, lavender and geranium settle the heart.

Woody notes and musk close the eau de parfum (EDP), a green, citrus-tinged, musky profile that works well for a casual day, travel, or an outdoor gym session through the cooler spring and autumn months. Longevity is rated 4 and sillage 3 out of 5, so expect it to last while staying fairly close to the skin.

It is unisex, herbal and green rather than sweet. AUROME sells it as a 3–9 ml decant filled from the original Guerlain bottle, so you can wear it for a week before deciding on a full bottle.
