What is Yara compared to?

It is often compared to Lancome La Vie Est Belle. The vanilla, gourmand accord and tropical-fruit sweetness give a similar warm, sweet character at a much lower price, which is how most people find it.

Is my Yara the original, or one of the flankers?

Lattafa sells several Yara scents that are genuinely different fragrances, including Yara Moi , Yara Tous and Yara Elixir. Ours is the original Yara, the orchid, heliotrope and vanilla one, so confirm the name if you want this exact profile.

Orchid, heliotrope and mandarin open this oriental vanilla with a sweet, powdery brightness before vanilla itself takes over fully through the heart. The base folds in musk and sandalwood, keeping the whole thing warm, musky and comforting rather than sharp.

It’s an easy choice for casual days, evenings or a date through the cooler winter and spring-autumn months, when a warm vanilla suits the season well. Expect it to last well and project with confidence, so it’s easy to overdo without a light hand.
