They share a fig-and-black-tea idea and then diverge completely. Gris Charnel Extrait pushes the fig ripe and jammy over iris, sandalwood and vanilla, so it lands warm and creamy. The Noir 29 keeps the fig green, closer to the leaf and stem than the fruit, and takes the tea toward tobacco and hay instead, finishing dry and smoky. If you want fig with sweetness, that is the BDK; if you want fig with bitterness, this is it.

It holds better than most, because there is nothing sweet in it to swell. Bergamot and bay leaf go quickly in high heat, as volatile green notes always do, but the tobacco-and-hay base is dry and stays dry on warm skin rather than turning rich. What changes is the balance: you reach the smoky tea part sooner and stay there longer. The fig also reads greener and less fruity in the heat, which suits this composition rather than hurting it.
