The comparison exists because both are the house's best-known releases, not because they smell alike.

The aldehydes and bergamot give the opening a fizzy, slightly metallic lift, jasmine and mock orange keep the middle floral rather than sterile, and sandalwood under the white musk stops it going completely flat.
