How is Hawas Viper different from the other Hawas scents?

It is the outlier. Where most of the Hawas line, such as Hawas Elixir , is fresh and crowd-pleasing, Viper turns dark and resinous, with cannabis, thyme, tobacco and coffee over a balsamic base. It borrows little from its siblings beyond the name.

Is the cannabis-and-thyme opening too medicinal?

It opens dry, herbal and a little pharmaceutical, but the tobacco, coffee and balsamic base rounds it into something smoky and resinous, so it settles into a wearable dark scent rather than staying sharp.

Hawas Viper opens with saffron and thyme, a warm spicy, green top before dark tobacco and roasted coffee take over the heart, softened by violet and raspberry.

Gurjan balsam, musk and tonka settle the dry-down into a sweet, aromatic finish for this eau de parfum (EDP). Expect it to last well and project with confidence through an evening out.
