It is a fresh citrus-aromatic. Mandarin, orange and bergamot open it bright and juicy, a heart of neroli, ginger and pink pepper adds a little spice and lift, and a clean base of musk, ambergris and vetiver keeps it smooth. There is no oud or heavy amber here, so it reads as an easy, everyday fresh scent. It is a 2025 men's release from Rayhaan.

Close enough that most wearers reach for the comparison. Both share a creamy citrus opening and a clean, musky-ambergris finish, and on some skin it reads as a near match. Where it can differ is the dry-down, where the musk and ambergris settle skin-close and can feel a touch less polished than the Louis Vuitton, so the citrus recedes a little faster than some expect. As a fresh citrus-musk it tracks Afternoon Swim honestly rather than exactly.

Only one, and it is this Rayhaan release from 2025. Be aware of a separate, unrelated fragrance simply called Icarus, with no Adonis, by the niche brand Velixir, which is a different scent from a different house. If you are matching a bottle, look for the full Adonis Icarus name and the Rayhaan branding so you do not end up with the Velixir one by mistake.
