What does Paris Corner Rifaaqat smell like?

Warm spice and incense. Black pepper, elemi and pink pepper open it peppery, a heart of frankincense and saffron adds a smoky, resinous middle, and a base of vanilla and cedarwood keeps it soft and warm. So it reads as a close-wearing Middle-Eastern style scent rather than a loud one. It is a 2023 unisex release.

Why does Rifaaqat smell odd or rubbery at first?

That is the pepper and elemi in the opening. For some wearers the sharp spice and resin can read briefly as rubbery or smoky before it settles, which is a common reaction to this kind of blend. Give it a few minutes and it warms into the vanilla-and-incense heart.

Is Rifaaqat the same as Rifaaqat Adorn?

Black pepper gives Rifaaqat a sharp, fresh spicy start, with elemi adding a resinous edge before olibanum and saffron take over the heart. Vanilla closes it out on a warm, ambery note.

It’s a night fragrance suited to a winter wedding or an Eid evening, once the day’s warmth has faded. No longevity or sillage numbers were recorded for this one, but the warm spicy, aromatic style suggests it should hold reasonably well into the night. Unisex and built for special occasions rather than daily wear.
