Same lavender-and-spice family, different weight distribution. La Nuit de l'Homme Le Parfum is built on pepper, anise and bergamot into lavender and labdanum over vanilla, patchouli and vetiver, with the vanilla doing a lot of the work. Al Nashama Caprice puts cardamom and ginger up front instead, keeps lavender, geranium and mint in the heart, and finishes on amber, cedar, patchouli and vetiver with no vanilla at all. The YSL is the sweeter one; this is drier and spicier.

It does, more than the amber base would suggest. Mint and geranium both read cooler on warm skin, and the cardamom and ginger up top stay sharp rather than sweetening, so the first hour holds up well in humidity. What changes is the second half: amber and cedar gain weight through a hot afternoon and the patchouli comes forward. Wear it into the evening rather than through the middle of the day.
