A warm, sweet lavender-vanilla. Mandarin, French lavender and bergamot open it, a heart of jasmine, orange blossom and orchid keeps the floral-lavender signature, and a base of Madagascar vanilla, tonka, ambergris and vetiver makes it rich and cosy. So it reads as a sweeter, deeper take on Libre rather than a fresh one. It is the 2020 Intense.

It is the cosiest of the three. The original Libre keeps more of the bright lavender-and-blossom freshness, while Intense pushes the vanilla and tonka forward for a warmer, sweeter drydown. So pick Intense if you want the same lavender signature with more gourmand depth.

The lavender is still there, but quieter. The French lavender that defines the original Libre remains at the top, yet the vanilla and tonka base is dialled up so far that the drydown reads mostly sweet and gourmand. So you get the Libre lavender signature up front, then a richer vanilla finish, rather than the cleaner lavender-blossom of the original.
