What does Kafu smell like?

Bright citrus laid straight over warm wood. Sicilian lemon and bergamot open it fresh, with vanilla sitting unusually high alongside them, then sandalwood and pink pepper lead into a base of musk, tonka, amber, cedar and vetiver. It is a vanilla-tinged woody scent for anyone tired of heavy oud releases.

Lemon, vanilla and bergamot open Kafu on a bright, sweet note, sandalwood and pink pepper fill the heart, and musk, tonka, amber, cedar and vetiver settle underneath.

It’s suited to an evening, an office day or a date through the shoulder season and winter, a woody spicy fragrance for him with a soft, powdery edge.

Longevity and sillage both sit at 4 out of 5, so expect it to last well and project generously through the day. AUROME sells it as a 5–15 ml decant filled from the original Amaran bottle, so you can wear it for a week before deciding on a full bottle.
