It is a boozy cherry-and-smoke scent. Cherry, almond and pink pepper open it over red mandarin and bergamot, a heart of milk, tonka and Peru balsam adds creaminess, and a base of oud, rum, vanilla and benzoin gives it a smoky, spirituous depth. So it reads as a rich cherry-liqueur-and-incense scent rather than a sweet cherry candy. It is the 2024 extrait.

The Extrait is the darker, smokier take. Where the 2018 eau de parfum reads airier and more candy-cherry, the extrait concentration adds oud and saffron and pushes the cherry into a nuttier, boozier, more nocturnal direction. So it is the pick if you found the original too light or too sweet; it trades the brightness for depth.

Not literally. The smoky quality comes from incense-like resins, oud and benzoin rather than an ashtray accord, and it is wrapped in cherry, almond and milk so it reads more like a warm, boozy cherry dessert with a smoky halo. The name evokes a smoke-filled bar rather than a tobacco note you can pick out.
