Is Sweet William unisex?

Yes. It is built around carnation, spice and iris and is marketed for women and men. The peppery, cardamom-and-cinnamon-wood opening can read slightly masculine, but the floral heart and soft iris-vanilla base keep it comfortably unisex.

White pepper and cardamom give Sweet William, from niche house Carner Barcelona, a fresh spicy lift right away, with a touch of green galbanum keeping it from feeling too warm too soon.

Ylang ylang, rose and carnation build a creamy yellow floral heart, and the dry-down turns properly warm spicy and woody, with vanilla, styrax, iris and tobacco settling into an amber base. Longevity and sillage both sit at 4 out of 5, so expect it to last and project comfortably through a winter wedding evening.
