How is Coco Mademoiselle Intense different from the standard EDP?

Olivier Polge pushed the fractioned patchouli much harder and built a richer amber base with vanilla, tonka and labdanum, so the Intense is deeper and warmer than the original Coco Mademoiselle . The citrus opening is kept intact, but the drydown is more sensual and patchouli-heavy.

Is it just a stronger version of the original?

Not exactly. It is a genuine reblend rather than a simple concentration bump; the base swaps the original's lighter dry-down for a labdanum-and-tonka amber accord. So it is warmer and more oriental, not merely louder.

Orange, bergamot and lemon sharpen the opening of this Chanel eau de parfum (EDP), before rose and jasmine soften into a fruity heart, and earthy patchouli with vanilla, tonka and labdanum turn the dry-down properly warm spicy. Perfumer Olivier Polge built this as the richer, more concentrated edit for evenings, so it makes sense at a winter party or a formal date rather than during the day. Expect it to project well and last through the night.
