How is the Extrait different from the original Hedonist?

Jordi Fernández took the bright, airy 2021 original and made it darker and sweeter, deepening the Akigalawood with lychee, patchouli and tonka. The original reads as a daytime fresh-woody, while the Extrait leans richer and more of an evening scent.

Is it a new scent or the same idea turned up?

The same woody Akigalawood backbone, reworked rather than replaced. If you liked the original's structure but wanted more depth and staying power, the Extrait delivers that; if you preferred its freshness, the original is still the lighter option.

Grapefruit, ginger and litchi open The Hedonist Extrait, a woody, citrus extrait de parfum from Ex Nihilo with a fresh spicy lift from bergamot.

Cedar keeps the heart simple, before vetiver, amberwood, tonka and suede settle into an oud-tinged, warm spicy base. Longevity and sillage are both rated 5 out of 5, so expect it to last and project strongly through a winter party or an Eid evening.
