It pairs fruit with incense. A red-apple, davana and cardamom top gives a bright, slightly boozy opening, then an olibanum-and-rose heart brings in a smoky, resinous floral quality over a myrrh, vanilla and amber base. So it is a fruity-incense oriental rather than a simple sweet or fresh scent.

It is built as an extrait, the most concentrated format, so a little goes a long way and the incense-and-resin base gives it real depth. Apply lightly at first, since the frankincense and myrrh can bloom over the wear into a rich, dark drydown.
