It brings them forward faster and turns them sharper. Cypriol is the note to watch: it is a dry, smoky root, and warm skin amplifies its earthy, almost burnt side, so the composition reads more feral in humidity than in cold air. The Turkish rose and geranium lose their cool, metallic edge sooner here, which removes the counterweight that holds the smoke in check. Elemi and leather keep their shape, so it stays legible through a hot evening even though it was built for cold ones.

Almost none, despite a note list that suggests otherwise. Osmanthus normally brings an apricot-and-suede softness and amber usually rounds a composition off, but the cardamom up top and the cypriol through the heart set an arid, spiced tone that both of them end up serving rather than softening. The osmanthus reads as texture on the leather rather than as fruit. If you are hoping the amber will make this an easy warm rose, it does not.
