How is Intense Oud different from the original Gucci Oud?

They are different fragrances, not strength tiers. Intense Oud (2016) is a fruity-rose oriental, with raspberry, saffron and rose leading into an oud, leather and patchouli base, so it reads richer and more floral than the plainer Gucci Oud.

Spiced raspberry and saffron open this Gucci eau de parfum (EDP), easing into a rose and orange blossom heart before a dark, resinous base of oud, leather and patchouli takes hold.

Composed by Aurélien Guichard, it is a bold unisex evening scent, fitting for a winter wedding season here (Nov–Feb), a party, or a dressed-up date night. Expect long-lasting wear with strong projection, so this one needs restraint rather than extra sprays. AUROME sells it as a 3–9 ml decant filled from the original Gucci bottle, enough to properly get to know it before buying full size.
