No. Despite the near-identical name, Bottled Absolu (2024) is a dark incense, leather and myrrh scent, while the older Boss Bottled Absolute (2019) and the other Bottled flankers are different compositions. It is worth confirming which one you are buying.
It leans dressy and dark, with a smoky, resinous character, so it suits evenings and cooler days more than a light daily-office backdrop. Applied sparingly it can still work for a formal daytime setting.
Incense and leather open Bottled Absolu smoky and balsamic, myrrh and patchouli deepen the heart, and cedar with davana close a warm spicy, earthy base heavier than the original Bottled.
Expect this eau de parfum (EDP) to last through an office day into an evening date, its resinous character suited to cooler weather. AUROME offers it as a 2–15 ml decant from the original Hugo Boss bottle, worth a week’s wear before choosing a full bottle.
