What does Initio Side Effect smell like?

Boozy and spiced. Cinnamon and rum open it warm with a boozy lift, a heart of tobacco and saffron adds a dry, leathery-sweet body, and a base of sandalwood and hedione keeps it smooth. So it reads as a rich rum-and-tobacco scent rather than a fresh or purely sweet one. It is a 2016 Initio release.

Is Side Effect a clone of anything?

Not really. It shares a boozy-tobacco genre with several scents but is not a copy of one, and the name people most often cross-shop it against is Nishane Ani , which wearers debate against it rather than call a match. Treat it as its own rum-tobacco composition.

Is there vanilla in Side Effect?

Not on the current note list. Older listings and some marketing described it with vanilla, but the current breakdown is cinnamon, rum, tobacco, saffron, sandalwood and hedione. The sweetness you may read as vanilla actually comes from the rum and cinnamon over the smooth sandalwood base.
