In heat and humidity the tart lime and peppery basil up top turn sharper and thinner and move through faster, so the bright green opening is briefer than it is in cool air. What takes over is the vetiver and patchouli base, drier and more bitter against warm skin, which pushes it toward a quiet, dusty citrus rather than a snappy one. It holds up in the heat, though the composed, earthy side leads sooner than the zesty side.

Nothing in the composition points either way. Lime, mandarin and bergamot open it, basil and thyme give the heart a herbal, almost culinary greenness, and vetiver and patchouli close it dry. The only florals are lilac and iris, and both work as texture rather than as a bouquet.
