Does Wood Sage & Sea Salt actually contain a salt note?

Not literally. Christine Nagel builds the salty, mineral sea-air effect from ambrette and clean musks rather than a real salt material, with sage adding a dry, green herbal edge. So the "sea salt" is an illusion of windswept skin rather than a briny note, which is what makes it feel so natural and understated.

Why do so many other brands smell like this one?
