Different fragrance, shared name. Asad is the pineapple-and-coffee one: black pepper, tobacco and pineapple over patchouli, coffee and iris, closing on vanilla, amber and benzoin. Asad Elixir drops the pineapple and coffee entirely and rebuilds around saffron and grapefruit up top with tobacco, vanilla and cedar through the middle, finishing on frankincense, patchouli and cashmeran. Both are smoky and warm, but the Elixir is the drier and more incense-led of the two.

It stays dry, which is the useful part. Tobacco and frankincense both keep their shape on warm skin instead of sweetening, so the smoky spine holds through a hot evening. What shifts is the vanilla and cashmeran underneath, which warm and round out sooner than they would in cold air, and the grapefruit up top, which is gone within minutes here. Expect to skip most of the bright opening in this weather and land in the smoke early.
